Biodolomer® is fully degradable and compostable biomaterial developed by Gaia BioMaterials. It has been tested and approved by the international test institute AIB-Vincotte to comply with the European standard EN 13432.

The Biodolomer® biomaterial developed for the LIFE programme can be used for the following products:

• Waste bags for collection of food waste
• Carry bags as an alternative to plastic bags of polyethylene and paper
• Disposable cutlery, cups, lids, straws, plates and disposable trays for the fast food and food industry
• Trays
